Lavin, Water Utilities Manager <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Resolution Appropriating City of <br />Date: April 9, 1992 <br />Colton's Matching Share Funds for Geothermal Grant <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On January 17, 1989 Council authorized the Water Utilities Manager to enter into <br />an agreement for the State of California Geothermal Grant. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The Geothermal Grant requires the City of Colton to provide matching share funds <br />in the amount of $64,752 in order to be eligible for the grant. <br />The State of California requires a resolution authorizing the matching share funds <br />for the project. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The matching share funds have been provided for in the Water budget. <br />RECOVMENDATION: <br />Staff recom-riends that Council approve the attached Resolution appropriating City <br />of Colton's Matching Share Funds for the Geothermal Grant. <br />/lj <br />CITY ~GER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page 1 of--- Item No.�— <br />
