ACEVEDO, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Substation Type Regulators Date: November 23, 1992 <br />for the Electric Department to Cooper Power <br />Svstems in the Amount of $16.977.09 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Electric Department has a requirement in their budget for three <br />substation type regulators. On November 3, 1992, General Services <br />advertised for bids for this requirement. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., November 16, 1992, at the General <br />Services office. Three bids were received and evaluated. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The low bid was received from Cooper Power Systems. A Bid Analysis <br />is attached showing price and delivery quoted by each vendor. The <br />recommended vendor's price is underlined. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award for Substation type regulators to Cooper <br />Power Systems in the amount of $16,977.09. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
