Hutton, Director of <br />Public Works <br />SUBJECT: y g <br />Date: February 10, 1992 <br />Recomnendation b Planning Commission for Street <br />Name Change, Santo Antonio Dr. to RV Erb. 60& <PA,� <br />4"ma, <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The American RV Expo Center presented a request to the Planning Commission on S�_.f_ <br />January 28, 1992 to consider changing Santo Antonio Dr. to RV Ca--- r. as a mean �^v� <br />to provide directional assistance to customers seeking their products and services. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />American RV Expo Center has indicated that customers have had difficulties in locating <br />their business and with changing Santo Antonio Dr. to RV E- . CALTRANS would be " <br />more receptive in considering a request to place a freeway directional sign to a J7"4f <br />public street which would assist customers off the freeway. d <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />As a condition of approval, the American RV Expo Center will pay for all related costs <br />with the changing of the street name, including a security deposit established by <br />the Planning Commission. In addition American RV Expo Center has agreed to those <br />conditions requested by Red Carpet Inn (attached). <br />RECCNMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the street name change from Santo Antonio Dr. <br />to RV -Bn` per the conditions set forth by the Planning Commission and Public <br />Works.
