Hutton, Director of Public Works:�k <br />SUBJECT: Consider First Reading of Amendment to Ordinance Date: December 11, 1991 <br />No. 0-18-87Adopting Regulations Consistent with the <br />Rules Governing the National Flood Insurance Program. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As a pre -requisite for the City's membership in the National Flood Insurance Program <br />(NFIP), the City must amend the current Ordinance regarding flood insurance, which <br />meets the Federal requirements as stated in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) <br />44, Section 60.3 <br />I)T 1;C:11SS I ON : <br />In August, 1991, a community assistance review was conducted by the California <br />Department of Water Resources.
