ACEVEDO, Finance Direct f <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Contract for Tires, Tubes, Date: June 29, 1992 <br />and Repair Service as Required for the Period <br />July 1, 1992 throucib June 30, 1994 to Gandyear <br />Commercial Tire <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 11, 1992, General Services advertised for sealed bids for a <br />two year contract for automotive tires, tubes and repair service re- <br />quirements as generated for vehicles assigned to various City depart- <br />ments. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This contract will be on an as required basis for the period July 1, <br />1992 through June 30, 1994. As such, the estimated quantities are <br />based on history of the previous years usage. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., May 28, 1992, in the General Services <br />office. Four bids were received and evaluated.
