JOHNSON� <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: PARKS, RECREATION & HUMAN <br />CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARIES <br />BACKGROUND <br />DATE: JULY 1, 1992 <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT REVISIONS TO JOB <br />Ken Herron has proposed the following changes in his department: <br />1. UPGRADE OF ONE COMMUNITY CHILDCARE SITE SUPERVISOR POSITION TO <br />COMMUNITY CHILDCARE SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR - NEW JOB TITLE AND SALARY <br />There are currently five Community Childcare Site Supervisor contract positions. In order to more effectively <br />manage that function, it is proposed that one of those positions be upgraded to Community Childcare Senior <br />Site Supervisor at salary schedule #1, pay range #29, $2298-2793/month. The salary range for the Community <br />Childcare Site Supervisor is $1690-2053/month. <br />2. UPGRADE OF COMMUNITY CHILD CARE COORDINATOR POSITION TO COMMUNITY <br />CHILD CARE & HUMAN SERVICES MANAGER - NEW JOB TITLE AND SALARY <br />There is currently a Community Child Care Coordinator contract position compensated at $2689-3268/month. <br />In recognition of the expanded duties of that classification, it is proposed to change the job title to Child Care <br />& Human Services Manager and increase the salary to salary schedule #2, pay range #20, $3667-4459/month. <br />3. UPGRADE OF TEEN COORDINATOR POSITION TO TEEN PROGRAM SUPERVISOR - NEW <br />JOB DESCRIPTION AND SALARY <br />There is currently a regularly budgeted full-time Teen Coordinator position compensated at $2049-2490/month. <br />This position needs to be upgraded to Teen Program Supervisor and placed in the Management/ Confidential <br />Bargaining Unit to reflect the following additional duties: <br />o Overseeing the development and construction of a multi -faceted teen services center, <br />o Managing the teen center following its construction including supervising 7 full-time equivalent <br />positions, <br />qv' <br />
