ACEVEDO, Finance Directo �Pel <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Annual Chemical Contract Date: June 4, 1992 <br />to All Pure Chemical for the Period July 1, 1992 <br />through June 30, 1994 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City solicits competitive bids for various chemicals used by the <br />Water Utility and Parks, Recreation & Human Services (pool maintenance) <br />on an as required basis. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On May 11, 1992, General Services advertised for sealed bids for this <br />requirement. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., June 3, 1992, in the <br />General Services office. Two bids were received and evaluated. Only <br />one vendor bid on all estimated requirements. <br />A Bid Analysis is attached showing price and delivery on estimated <br />quantities.
