Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />Approval of Annexation No. 54 into <br />the City's Landscape Maintenance District <br />WATSTRIMV `II\IIT <br />Date: April 27, 1992 <br />The Council has previously approved the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District. <br />Properties within certain Benefit Zones may be annexed into the District. <br />n T qC .1 1SS T C)N <br />Attached are the "Consent and Waiver to Annexation" from the owner of property within <br />such a Benefit Zone. The property owner is requesting annexation into the City's <br />Landscape Maintenance District. Under the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting <br />Act of 1972, a single property owner can request annexation into a Landscape District, <br />waiving any public hearings. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Areas within the District are maintained with fees collected by the County Tax <br />Collector. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recon -mends that Council approve Annexation No. 54 into the City's Landscape <br />Maintenance District. <br />/lj <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENC <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of Item No. /05- <br />
