Hall, Fire Chiei'iww <br />SUBJECT: Local Adoption of the Uniform Fire Code <br />1991 Edition with local amendments <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Date: May 12, 1992 <br />Attached to this report is an Ordinance adopting the 1991 <br />edition of the Uniform Fire Code with local amendments. <br />Every three (3) years the uniform model codes are updated and <br />published by the International Conference of Building <br />Officials in conjunction with the Western Fire Chief's <br />Association. <br />Traditionally the City of Colton has adopted these codes by <br />Ordinance with amendments based on local conditions. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />Staff recommends waiver of full reading and approval of the <br />first reading of the Ordinance attached hereto. <br />Attachment: Ordinance <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE• ! <br />CITY OF COLTON FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />FIRE PREVENTION DIVISION <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of --11 <br />Item No. 01,3 <br />
