Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Authorization to Proceed with Design and Date: August 25, 1992 <br />Construction of Traffic Signals at Plaza <br />Las Glorias and East Olive Street <br />RA('KC,RCK 1Nn <br />As part of the development conditions for Plaza Las Glorias, CFD 90-1 funds were <br />allocated for the installation of a traffic signal at the main plaza entrance with <br />Olive Street, east of Mt. Vernon Avenue. <br />n T Irl 11;1; TnN <br />The City Traffic Corrmittee has reviewed the project and is requesting authorization <br />to proceed with the design of the proposed traffic signal and approval to proceed <br />with the bidding process upon plan review and approval. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Funds for the traffic signals have been allocated in CFD 90-1. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council authorize the Public Works Director to proceed with <br />the design and construction of the CFD 90-1 traffic signal project at Mt.
