CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of October 20, 1992 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: John Hutton, Director of Public Work��/, <br />SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING TO PASS RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF <br />CERTAIN OPEN SPACE AREAS WITHIN TRACT NO. 14158 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On October 6, 1992, the City <br />abandonment of certain open space <br />additional sideyard landscape areas. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Council declared its intention to order the <br />areas within Tract No. 14158, designated as <br />It has since been found that these areas are not needed as public right of way <br />as they do not benefit the general public as originally intended and for liability <br />purposes not in the best interest of the City of Colton. <br />The City Clerk has published the Resolution of Intention and Public Works staff <br />has posted "Notice to Vacate" on the subject property. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />ENVIRONMENT INPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />At the conclusion of the Public Hearing staff recommends that Council pass <br />resolution ordering the Vacations of those certain open spaces within Tract No. <br />14158. <br />Concurrence <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of <br />Item No. <br />
