Lavin, Water Utilities Manager <br />SUBJECT: Permission to Advertise for Open Bids for <br />the Construction of the Lemna Ponds <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Date: <br />At the March 15, 1994 Council meeting, Council approved the Lemna project and <br />Kennedy -Jenks, Consultants as the design engineer. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Kennedy -Jenks has completed the plans and specifications for the Lemna ponds. <br />The City must advertise for open bids for the construction of the Lemna ponds. <br />1. Construction to Begin <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />June 13 - 16 <br />July 7 <br />July 14 <br />July 20 <br />August 2 <br />August 15 <br />August 22 <br />The construction of the Lemna ponds is in the FY94-95 budget. The cost of the <br />project is $1,000,000.
