CLOUD <br />Acting Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Annual Chemical Contract to All Pure Chemical for the Period July 1, 1994 <br />through June 30, 1995. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City solicits competitive bids for various chemicals used by the Water Utility and Recreation & Human <br />Services (pool maintenance) on an as required basis. On May 26, 1994, General Services posted a "Notice <br />Inviting Bids for these requirements. Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., June 7, 1994, in the General <br />Services office. Only one vendor bid on all estimated requirements. <br />A Bid analysis is attached showing price and delivery on estimated quantities. The quantities are estimated <br />from history of past usage. The recommended vendor's estimate of $14,936.32 is underlined. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />These items are budgeted in routine maintenance accounts for both departments. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the award of a bid for a chemical contact to All Pure Chemical for the period July 1, 1994 <br />through June 30, 1995, in the estimated annual amount of $14,936.32. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
