CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For ouncil Meeting of March 15, 1994 <br />TO: H NOR BLE A COUNCIL <br />FROM: <br />Community Develo ment Dire or <br />SUBJECT: Set for Public Hearing, for the Meeting of April 5, 1994, the <br />Prioritization and Funding of Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Projects for the 20th Program Year (1994-95) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />DATE: March 7, 1994 <br />Staff is requesting that the City Council set for Public Hearing the Prioritization and Funding of <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Projects for the Fiscal Year 1994-95, as required <br />by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Cooperating Cities <br />Agreement between the City of Colton and the San Bernardino County Department of Economic <br />and Community Development (ECD). The Public Hearing is to be set for April 5, 1994. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The City is required to conduct a Public Hearing to allow "citizen participation" when it selects <br />and prioritizes CDBG Projects for funding from it's annual CDBG allocation. The requested <br />action provides for the setting of the Public Hearing. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />There is no financial impact associated with the request action. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends setting for Public Hearing the Prioritization and Funding of Community <br />Development Block Grant Projects for the 20th Program Year (Fiscal Year 1994-95) for the <br />Council meeting of April 5, 1994. <br />ALS:tg <br />CITY MANAGERS CONCURRENC <br />Page 1 of 1 Item No.A <br />
