ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 25, 1986 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 3:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />RnT.T. CAT.T. <br />Council Members present were Rios, Rehrer, and Mayor Huntoon. Also <br />present were City Attorney Edwards and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was <br />Councilwomen Cisneros and Garcia, and City Manager Elliott. <br />Electric <br />Hoover Uprating Program <br />Electric Utility Director Gale Drews referred to correspondence from <br />Alan Watts, Rourke & Woodruff, and the U. S. Department of the In- <br />terior, relating to the Hoover Uprating Program, and reported in order <br />to continue the uprating program on schedule, the utilities having an <br />allocation must fund, in advance, costs for contracts to construct the <br />facilities. Mr. Drews advised the contracts are being negotiated by <br />our attorneys for assurance that the cities will be provided proper <br />credits for the advancing of funds, and these contracts may be review- <br />ed in the City Clerk's Office. Mr. Drews said the total project costs <br />will be provided by financing from SCPPA. <br />Mr. Drews concluded Staff recommends Council approve the Contracts as <br />outlined. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Contracts relating to the Hoover Uprating Program as outlined, and <br />authorize Mayor to execute same. Unanimous vote. <br />Personnel <br />City Attorney Edwards read from a list the employees eligible for re- <br />ceiving Perfect Attendance Certificates, 37 employees"ranging from one <br />year to 15 years, and'Service Pins, 42 employees ranging from 5 years <br />to 45 years. The Certificates and Pins were distributed by Mayor <br />Huntoon, with the assistance of Councilmen Rehrer and Rios. <br />Mayor Huntoon announced there was cake and punch being served for all <br />present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />There being no further business to come before the City Council at this <br />time, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 3:45 p. m. <br />�� a - WV_,_V 2, "_ � <br />HELEN A.
