<br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve
<br />Cooperation Agreements, as outlined by Staff, and authorize Mayor to
<br />execute same. Unanimous vote.
<br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
<br />Mr. Frank Smith, 267 West "F" Street, Colton, complained about the
<br />diagonal parking on "F" Street, in front of the Womens Club. Staff
<br />will check into this.
<br />Mr. Art Gray, 813 Herberts Lane, Colton, spoke about the National
<br />Council of Senior Citizens, stating if that organization should elect
<br />to construct apartment buildings, he would hope they would do so in
<br />Colton and that the Council would approve it.
<br />Mr. John Longfield, 1809 Cottonwood, Colton, spoke about the road con-
<br />ditions in their area, and commended the Public Works Department for
<br />their work in that area, stating it was appreciated.
<br />CLOSED SESSION:
<br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 9:40 p. m., to discuss
<br />matters of Pending Litigation, Sklar vs. All Persons, San Bernardino
<br />Superior Court Action No. 234016, pursuant to Government Code Section
<br />54956.9(a), and Labor Relations Matters, pursuant to Government Code
<br />Section 54957.6, and reconvened at 10:05 p. m., all Members present.
<br />Mayor Huntoon stated the City Council can now consider taking action on
<br />authorizing execution of the Compromise and Settlement Agreement with
<br />Mr. & Mrs. Sklar.
<br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, approving
<br />and authorizing Mayor to execute Compromise and Settlement Agreement
<br />with Mr. and Mrs. Sklar. Vote was unanimous.
<br />ADJOURNMENT:
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios and unanimous-
<br />ly passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 10:20 p. m., to meet
<br />for an Adjourned Meeting on Thursday, October 16, 1986, at 5:30 p. m.,
<br />in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
