CITY OF COLTON CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY JUNE 19, 2007 Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:07 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil, Mitchell, Oliva, De La Rosa, Toro and Mayor Chastain. City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss item A thru C. CLOSED SESSION: A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS Pursuant to Government Code, Section 54957.6 ,Agency Representative: Daryl Parrish, City Manager Employee Organizations: Executive Unit B. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8 Property: 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue - APN 0160-132-54-0000 Agency Negotiator: Jeannette Olko, Electric Utility Director; Delmar Williams, Best Best & Krieger LLP (City Attorney) Negotiating Party: Mark Moss, property owner Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(c) 1 potential case Relates to the EI Sombrero night club. Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:09 p.m. and at 6:09 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. Mayor Chastain reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the items previously announced with reportable action on Item C staff is authorized to pursue legal action as deemed necessary by Police and Fire Department as it relates to the violations.
