CLOSED SESSION — REGULAR COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON <br />UTILITY AUTHORITY CLOSED SESSION MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 7, 2009 <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:04 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, CM Perez arrived at 5:07 p.m., Bennett, Yzaguirre arrived at 5:07 <br />p.m., De La Rosa, Toro, Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva and Mayor Chastain. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />City Attorney Martinez announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />items A and B and Item C will be carried over to the next meeting. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Case Name: City of Riverside v. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (a) <br />Case Name: Jose Antonio Fierro Avalos et, al. v. City of Colton et, al. <br />Case No.: US District Court Case No. CV06-0056856L (oPx) <br />Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:05 p.m. and at 6:14 p.m.; the <br />meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Martinez reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on <br />the items previously announced with no reportable action on Items A and B.
