R-03-09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, <br />2008 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2009. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending <br />July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009 was approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget <br />shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes, entering into the State of California Agreement CPRE - <br />8286 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of <br />Education State Pre -School Grant in the amount of $1,497. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an <br />adjustment to the fiscal year 2008-09 budget. The allocation in the Childcare <br />Fund, revenue account 206-5776 shall be increased by the agreement amount <br />of $1,497. Additionally, the allocation for expenditure account 206-7200-7203- <br />2301 shall also be increased by $1,497. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />e <br />EILEEN C.
