R-16-09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ACCEPTING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOURCE GRANT AND <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, <br />2008 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved a School Age Resource Grant in the <br />amount of $2,095 for the Colton Childcare Program, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br />2008 and ending June 30, 2009 was approved and adopted, and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, California <br />authorizes entering into local agreement number CSCC-8253 and authorizes the City <br />Manager to sign the applicable documents for this agreement. <br />SECTION 2: The Childcare Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 is hereby amended. <br />Childcare Expenditure Account 206-7200-7205-2307 and Childcare Revenue Account <br />206-5889 are both increased by the grant amount of $2,095. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
