2017 SEPTEMBER 19 CC/SARDA/CUA/CPFA/CHA MEETING 1 - <br /> <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />CLOSED SESSION MINUTES <br /> <br />September 19, 2017 <br /> <br />Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:01 p.m., in the Council Chamber of City Hall, <br />with Mayor DeLaRosa presiding. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Mayor Pro Tem Toro (appeared at 5:10 p.m.), Cisneros, Navarro, González, <br />Woods, Suchil, and Mayor DeLaRosa. <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Smith, City Attorney Campos, and City Clerk Padilla. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />City Attorney Campos announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session to Discuss Item A. <br /> <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Pacific Gas and Electric Company <br />United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California, Case Number 01-30923 DM <br /> <br />Mayor DeLaRosa adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. and at 6:02 p.m., the meeting <br />reconvened, with all members present heretofore. <br /> <br />City Attorney Campos announced that the City Council met in Closed Session regarding Item A: Reportable <br />Action: By unanimous decision the City Council authorized le gal counsel to withdraw its claim against PG&E <br />in the PG&E bankruptcy case contingent upon a release of any potential claims arising out of the energy crisis <br />including any potential claims against the City by the California parties. Once the release agreement is fully <br />executed it will be made public. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF <br />COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />September 19, 2017 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting held on the above-given date at 6:04 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall, with Mayor <br />DeLaRosa presiding. <br />
