R-10-17 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2016/17 SOLID WASTE FUND REVENUE <br />BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, It is recommended that the City Council, approve the Settlement and <br />Release Agreement between the City of Colton and Republic Services of Southern <br />California, LLC; to resolve outstanding billing issues, and <br />WHEREAS, approval of the Settlement and Release Agreement will result in a <br />payment of $100,000 from the Republic Services of Southern California, LLC to the City <br />of Colton, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes approval of the Settlement and Release <br />Agreement between the City of Colton and Republic Services of Southern California, LLC, <br />to resolve outstanding billing issues. <br />Section 2. The City Council authorizes a budget adjustment to amend the Fiscal Year <br />2016/17 Budget to increase the Solid Waste Miscellaneous Revenue Account Number 523- <br />7830-000 by $100,000. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of March 2017 <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
