I <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-11-16 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF <br />4 APPLICATION FOR PAYMENT PROGRAMS AND <br />RELATED AUTHORIZATIONS <br />5 <br />6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 48000 et seq. the Department <br />7 of Resources and Recovery (CalRecycle) has established various payment programs to make <br />8 payments to qualifying jurisdictions; and <br />WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority CalRecycle is required to establish <br />9 <br />procedures governing the administration of the payment programs; and <br />10 WHEREAS, CalRecycle's procedures for administering payment programs require, <br />II among other things, an applicant's governing body to declare by resolution certain <br />12 authorizations related to the administration of the payment program. <br />13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />14 <br />15 That the City of Colton is authorized to submit an application to CalRecycle for any and all <br />payment programs offered; and <br />16 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City manager, or his/her designee, is here <br />17 authorized as Signature Authority to execute all documents necessary to implement and secure <br />18 payment; and <br />19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this authorization is effective until rescinded by the <br />20 Signature Authority or this Governing Body. <br />21 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February 2016 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 Richard A.
