R-13-13 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, PRIORITIZING PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013-2014 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant ("CDBG") funds; and <br />WHEREAS, as a "Cooperating City," the City of Colton anticipates receiving <br />$408,089 in CDBG funds for fiscal year 2013-2014; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, as the governing body of the City of Colton, is required <br />by statute to take a formal action approving a prioritized list of projects to be funded with <br />CDBG funds for fiscal year 2013-2014 that comply with CDBG program regulations and <br />subject to available funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seated a committee, known as the CDBG Committee, <br />comprised of three (3) City Council members and three (3) Planning Commissioners, to <br />review the eligible projects and make funding recommendations to the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is required to inform the County of San Bernardino <br />regarding the priority of eligible projects to be funded with CDBG funds for fiscal year 2013- <br />2014. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton, as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The recitals preceding this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by this reference. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Colton prioritizes the following projects <br />for funding with CDBG funds in fiscal year 2013-2014: <br />4 <br />[1] <br />
