R-09-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPOINTING SPECIFIC REPRESENTATIVES TO ACT AS AUTHORIZED AGENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING FEDERAL AND/OR STATE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR DISASTER RELIEF WHEREAS, the California Emergency Management Agency (CalEMA) is the agency responsible for administering federal and/or state disaster aid; and WHEREAS, CalEMA requires that all non -state agencies designate authorized agents to act on their behalf for the purpose of applying for disaster aid; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton wishes to seek disaster aid related to the December 2010 statewide storms and future disaster events; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: SECTION 1. That Rod Foster, City Manager, is designated to act as an authorized agent for the purpose of applying for disaster aid. SECTION 2. That Bonnie Johnson, Management Services Director, is designated to act as an authorized agent for the purpose of applying for disaster aid. SECTION 3. That Tom Hendrix, Fire Chief, is designated to act as an authorized agent for the purpose of applying for disaster aid. SECTION 4. That the individuals designated as authorized agents by this City Council are hereby confirmed and designated as the City's agents for purposes of applying for federal and/or state disaster aid through CalEMA for all current and future disasters. RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution shall be provided with OES Form 130 to the State Public Assistance Officer of CalEMA. PASSED, APPROVED, AND Mayor ATTEST: EILEEN C.
