GARCIA, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: AL HOLLIMAN, FINANCE DIRECTOFV <br />SUBJECT: FINAL ACCEPTANCE/NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br />INSTALLATION OF CARPET AND TILE AT THE COLTON PUBLIC LIBRARY. <br />DATE: JULY 10, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On March 7, 2000 the City Council approved The Purchasing Division's recommendation to award a <br />contract for the purchase and installation of carpet and tile to Mike's Custom Flooring in the amount of <br />$22,269.00. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS <br />The Contractor completed the work, as specified in the contract, on May 23, 2000, meeting all of the <br />requirements of the contract. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The total amount of the project was $22,269.00. This project was funded in account numbers 211-7100- <br />7104-3890. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve final acceptance of the purchase and installation of carpet <br />and tile to Mike's Custom Flooring in the amount of $22,269.00 and approve the execution and <br />recordation of the Notice of Completion for this project. <br />Report Prepared by: Nicole Mihld, Purchasing Assistant <br />Attrchment Notice of Completion <br />Page I of I Item #13 <br />
