M., in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Gaytan presiding.
FLAG SALUTE:
Mayor Gaytan invited Police Captain Pat Crowe to lead the assembly in the Pledge of
Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Present were Councilmember Don Sanders, Councilmember John Hutton,
Councilmember Kelly Chastain, Councilmember Betty Cook, Councilmember Deirdre
Bennett, Councilmember David Sandoval and Mayor Karl Gaytan. Also present were
City Attorney Biggs, City Manager Freeman, and City Clerk Barrera.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
STAFF REPORTS
CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
Republic Industries (Taormina)
Upon consensus of the City Council, Mayor Gaytan advanced Item 1 for discussion.
Assistant City Manager Parrish reported there was miscommunication surrounding the
proposed amendments to the Taormina Contract.
