R-108-98 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT PROJECT APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN <br />BERNARDINO FOR ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter <br />into a Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order <br />to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton will receive <br />approximately $368,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds <br />for Fiscal Year 1999-2000; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the County Department <br />of Economic and Community Development that they are accepting CDBG <br />Project Proposal Applications for Eligibility and Qualification Review for <br />the Fiscal Year 1999-2000; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications <br />and has conducted community meetings to provide for and encourage <br />citizen participation in developing project proposals. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton submits the CDBG Project Proposal Applications listed on <br />Attachment "A" to the County of San Bernardino Department of Economic <br />and Community Development to determine eligibility and qualification for <br />the use of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 1999-2000. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1St day <br />ATTEST: <br />MOVIES] ■ -.-- - I <br />CITY CLERK <br />E.
