R-12-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 2021/2022 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br />WHEREAS, the City intends to support the City's goal to improve the City's traffic <br />safety and infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton applied and received Federal Highway Bridge Program <br />(HBP) funding through Caltrans for the for Bridge 454C-0100 - Mt. Vernon Ave. Bridge over <br />Santa Ana River Seismic Retrofit Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton received additional HBP funding for the Preliminary <br />Engineering Phase for Bridge #54C-0100 - Mt. Vernon Ave. Bridge over Santa Ana River <br />Seismic Retrofit Project in the amount of $110,751; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget appropriation not listed in the Fiscal Year 2021/2022 budget is <br />required and must be approved by resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 The Recitals preceding in this Resolution are true and correct and are <br />incorporated into this Resolution by reference. <br />Section 2 The City Council authorizes the following amendment for the Fiscal Year <br />2021/2022 budget: <br />• Increase revenues by $110,751 in account number 225-5886-002; and <br />• Increase appropriation in 225-1000-1000-5993-0004-450 by $$110,751; and <br />• Increase revenue in 450-5993--225 by $$110,751; and <br />
