R-23-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />UPDATING THE MILITARY BANNER PROGRAM POLICY AND GUIDELINES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved policy and guidelines for the <br />Military Banner Program on April 17, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the policies to be consistent with the existing <br />process and address the change in program oversight to the Community Services Department; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to continuously improve the Military Banner Program <br />in order to promote the community's quality of live and enrich the aesthetic and visual <br />appearance of the City of Colton's thoroughfares. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Approves and adopts the Military Banner Program Policy, Guidelines and Application <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5ch <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA R.
