RESOLUTION NO. R-11-23 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF COLTON TO ACCEPT FUNDING IN THE AMMOUNT <br /> 4 OF $162,334.00 FROM THE 2022 SAN BERNARDINO <br /> COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS (BOS) OHV <br /> 5 FUNDING AND AMEND THE 2022/2023 FISCAL BUDGET <br /> 6 <br /> WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br /> 7 July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023 was approved and adopted; and <br /> 8 WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br /> the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br /> 9 <br /> WHEREAS, On September 13, 2022 The City of Colton entered into a contract <br /> 10 (22-900) with the County of San Bernardino to assist San Bernardino County Law <br /> Enforcement with Off-Highway Vehicle enforcement. In this contract, the San <br /> 11 Bernardino County Board of Supervisors allocated the City of Colton $162,334.00 <br /> to purchase an Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) fleet and emergency related <br /> 12 equipment. <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED, DETERMINED AND <br /> ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Colton, California, as follows: <br /> 14 <br /> 1. Section 1. Amend the FY 2022/2023 Budget to increase revenues in the <br /> 15 Miscellaneous Grant Fund Revenue Account GL 225-5890-002 by <br /> $162,334.00 to accept the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisor's <br /> 16 grant. <br /> 17 2. Section 2. Amend the FY 2022/2023 Budget to increase appropriations in the <br /> Miscellaneous Grants Fund Vehicle Expenditure Account GL 225-6070-6072- <br /> 18 4910-0000-002 by $162,334.00 to purchase the OHV vehicles and related <br /> emergency/safety related equipment. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DA i MARCH 2023. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> At it <br /> 23 ' .N AliT117.
