• <br /> /454 <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2739 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A <br /> PORTION OF HOBSON LANE IN THE CITY OF COLTONo <br /> 3 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City. Council of the City of Colton as follows: <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Section One. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to <br /> 6 proceed under the provisions of Section 8300-8331 of the Streets and Highways <br /> 7 Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided <br /> 8 therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the portion of <br /> 9 Hobson Lane as shown on Tract 2171 recorded in Book 31 of Maps, Page 39, Re- <br /> 10 cords of San Bernardino County, State of California, described as follows: <br /> 11 Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 10 of said Tract 2171, said <br /> point being on the East right of way line of Hobson Lane; thence <br /> 12 North 3°52' West along said East right of way line a distance of 18. 77 <br /> feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing North 3°52' West <br /> 13 along said East right of way line a distance of 448. 29 feet; thence <br /> North 4°32' West a distance of 150.07 feet, to a point on the East right <br /> 14 of way line of Hobson Lane 44 feet South of the center line of Fogg Street; <br /> thence South 89°17" West parallel with and 44 feet South of the center line <br /> 15 of Fogg Street a distance of 20.53 feet to the West right of way line of <br /> Hobson Lane; thence South 4°32' East along said West right of way line a <br /> 16 distance of 151.30 feet; thence South 3°52' East a distance of 485.80 feet <br /> to the center line of Adams Street and the beginning of a tangent curve <br /> 17 concave to the Southeast having a radius of.50 feet; thence Northeasterly <br /> along said curve through a central angle of 50°47'04" a distance of 41. 76 <br /> 18 feet to the True Point of Beginning, is <br /> 19 unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public <br /> 20 interest and convenience requires the closing of said street. <br /> 21 Section Two. The City Council of the City of Colton hereby orders the <br /> 22 Vacation of the herein before described street, subject to reservation and <br /> 23 exceptions. <br /> 24 That the public convenience and necessity require the reservation of <br /> 25 easements and rights of way for structures enumerated in Section 8331 of the <br /> 26 Streets and Highways Code more particularly described as the permanent easement <br /> 27 at- any time or from time to time to construct or replace in, upon, over and <br /> 28 across said street as vacated and pursuant to agreement. <br /> 29 PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of December , 1966 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 ATTEST: - Mayor <br /> 32 ( , <br /> City/Clark <br />
