1 RESOLUTION NO. 2441 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 WHEREAS, KENNETH HUBBS, more affectionately known to us as KENNY <br /> 4 HUBBS, has been killed in a tragic airplane accident; and <br /> 5 WHEREAS, KENNY has all during his lifetime been an exemplary person <br /> 6 in character, morals and intelligence, bringing the highest credit to <br /> 7 himself and his family; and <br /> 8 WHEREAS, KENNY has also brought to his community of Colton similar <br /> 9 high credit in such a manner as to make each and every one of us proud to <br /> 10 have known him and share in the esteem in which he was and is still held; <br /> 11 and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, in his chosen field of endeavor, and even as a young man, <br /> 13 <br /> he became a person of national stature; <br /> 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 15 <br /> As an expression of condolence and in recognition of the <br /> 16 <br /> sorrowful and profound loss of KENNY HUBBS to his family, his community, <br /> 17 <br /> and his country, the City Hall will be closed from 9:00 to 12:00 <br /> 18 <br /> February 20, 1964. <br /> 19 <br /> ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18fli doy of February , 1964. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br /> (6),,4 4AN r- <br /> 22 Mayor of the City of Colton, California <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
