RESOLUTION NO. 2685 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON,, CALIFORNIA, MAKING FINDINGS AND OVER- 1 RULING PROTESTS AND OBJECTIONS. 2 (Assessment District No. 548) 3 ' WHEREAS, this City Council by its Resolution No. 2681, 4 adopted on the 5th day of April, 1966, declared its intention to 5 order the construction of certain street work under the Improve- ment Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code 7 of the State of California, and in said resolution fixed the 8 3rd day of May, 1966, at the hour of 7: 30 o'clock P.M. , in the 9 Council Chambers of this City Council, as the time and place for 10 the hearing before this City Council of protests and objections ; 11 and 12 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution 13 No. 2681, a hearing was duly held by this City Council at which 14 all written protests or objections, if any, were duly presented 15 and read and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard, 16 and this City Council gave all persons present an opportunity 17 to be heard in respect of any matter relating to the work pro- 18 posed in said Resolution No. 2681 or the boundaries of the 19 assessment district described therein, or in any way relating to 20 the proceedings proposed by said Resolution No. 2681; and 21 WHEREAS, all persons desiring to appear and be heard have 22 been heard, and this City Council has taken evidence relating to 23 said proposed work, the boundaries of the proposed assessment 24 district and the benefits to the property to be included in the 25 proposed assessment district, and is fully informed in the premises ; 26 NOW,, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Colton, 27 California, DOES HEREBY FIND,, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER As 28 follows : 29 Section 1. That protests or objections have not been made 30 by the owners of one-half of the area of the property to be 31 assessed for said proposed work. 32
