CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF August 15, 2006 <br />TO HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: Tom Hendrix, Fire Chief <br />SUBJECT: Approve Acceptance of a Donation to the Fire Department <br />from Hugo Neu- Proler Co. and Adopt a Resolution Amending <br />the Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing on July 1, 2006 <br />and Ending on June 30, 2007 <br />DATE: August 7, 2006 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />ITEM #10 <br />On July 11, 2006, the Fire Department received a $2,000 donation from Hugo Neu — <br />Proler Co. Their intent is to give $2,000 to the Fire Department for firefighting equipment. <br />DISC USSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The Fire Department intends to use this donation to purchase replacement fire hose. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Acceptance of this donation requires an amendment to the 2006/2007 fiscal year budget. <br />The Revenue Estimate in Account Number 100-5880 will be increased by $2,000 and <br />appropriations in Account Number 100-6090-6091-2301 will be increased in the amount <br />of $2,000. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None anticipated <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />Exact Business Name — Hugo Neu-Proler Company <br />President or Equal — Jeffrey Neo, Owner <br />Contact or Representative — Alex Arriaga <br />
