Bennett I . t C <br />Subject: Approval of Additional Crosswalk on Cooley Drive for the Cooley Ranch <br />Elementary Students <br />This is a request for approval of an additional crosswalk on Cooley Drive for the Cooley <br />Ranch Elementary students with two possible alternatives, as follows: <br />Alternative No. 1: Place a second crosswalk at Cooley Drive and Old Ranch Road. <br />' Alternative No. 2: Remove existing crosswalk at Cooley Drive and Ash Street place <br />one (1) crosswalk half way between Ash Street and Old Ranch Road. <br />Recommendation is to seek Alternative No. 1, which is least costly due to the fact that the <br />median would need to be redesigned and rebuilt to accommodate a crosswalk in the <br />middle. <br />DHB:adf <br />Item # 22 <br />
