Hutton, Public Works Directo�A+ 9eN <br />SUBJECT: A Resolution of the City Council of the City Of Colton Amending Resolution <br />No. 2119 Passed And Adopted By The City Council Of The City Of Colton On The <br />Sixth Day of December, 1960 to remove Additional No Parking Areas <br />DATE: March 8, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />There is currently a parking restriction on the street in front of the residences located at 1158, 1178, and <br />1198 north La Cadena Drive. No resolution authorizing that parking restriction has been located for repeal. <br />It is assumed that this restriction was placed to protect a bus stop and a mid block crosswalk. Both of these <br />items have been removed. <br />The Traffic Safety Committee discussed this issue. The committee agreed that there is currently no <br />justification for that parking restriction and recommended that the restriction be removed. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Resolution, removing the restricted parking along the <br />East Side of La Cadena Drive. <br />Page I of 2 Item No. <br />Attachments: <br />Resolution <br />Item #15 <br />
