Clarke, Electric Utility Director` \ � <br />SUBJECT: Approve Acceptance of the High Voltage Substation Equipment <br />Painting Project, as 100% Complete and Authorize the Filing of <br />the Notice Of Completion <br />DATE: <br />July 22, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND <br />City Council awarded a contract to Kenny Industrial Services, LLC to paint various high voltage <br />substation equipment at the Hub Substation on July April 2, 2002. <br />DISCUSSION/ ANALYSIS <br />All painting work has been completed and the contractor has requested final acceptance of the <br />project, filing of the Notice of Completion, and release of retention. City staff have signed the <br />project as complete. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this project were budgeted and have been previously encumbered in Account Number <br />520-8000-8003-2255-0592-100. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that City Council accept the High Voltage Substation Equipment Painting <br />Project, as 100% complete and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Report prepared by Rebecca Gallegos, Buyer <br />Attachments: (1) Notice of Comoletion <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney: Finance <br />City Manager: OTHER: <br />
