Hugh Margesson, Childcare DirectorR^ <br />SUBJECT: Approve and Accept Instruction Materials Grant for City <br />Childcare <br />DATE: February 7, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />For the past thirteen years Community Childcare has provided latchkey services for <br />school-age children (5-12 years of age). Periodically, the State makes one-time basis <br />funds available in the form of grants for Instruction Materials to existing facilities. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />For fiscal year 2001/02 the Instruction Materials Grant will provide funds in the amount <br />of $2,192 for either durable or consumable developmentally appropriate and curriculum - <br />related instructional materials. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no general fund impact.
