Item #13 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF June 3, 2003 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Ron Kenny — Director of Parks, Recreation & Family Services <br />SUBJECT: Reservation Request for Fleming Park— Church of God <br />DATE: May 20, 2003 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Church of God of Prophecy has submitted a facility reservation request for the use of <br />Fleming Park on Saturday, August 2, 2003. Their listed intention for use is to present a <br />religious concert. Additionally, they wish to conduct a food sale at the event. A copy of their <br />facility use application, as well as a supplemental letter from the organization has been <br />provided. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Fleming Park presents a high-profile, centralized location to reach the community as a whole, <br />and the event has the potential to positively impact the community.
