Barrera, City Clerk @P <br />SUBJECT: Possible Conflict of Interest Issues for the City of Colton Council Meeting of <br />June 17, 2003 <br />DATE: June 12, 2003 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In addition to other provisions of law that prohibit City Council members from having financial <br />interest in City contracts, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 0-16-01, which requires City <br />Council members to disclose, during open session, any gifts aggregating $50.00 or more that he or <br />she has received or been promised from a party or participant in any proceeding before the City <br />Council involving a license, permit, contract or other entitlement.
