it <br />;F <br />i <br />i <br />3i <br />9 <br />101 <br />1 <br />121 <br />`I <br />i4I <br />151 <br />161 <br />18 <br />i <br />201 <br />21 <br />22� <br />23 <br />i <br />24! <br />i <br />2%5 <br />1 <br />261 <br />1 <br />271 1�y 1 <br />i <br />I <br />70 i <br />29 <br />30 <br />1: <br />31' <br />l <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NOS, 1092 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY <br />DESIGNATED "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION <br />NO, 16" TO THE --CITY OF COLTONo <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: <br />WHEREAS on the 2nd day of May, 1961* the Council of the City of <br />I <br />Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2159 giving Notice of the proposal, <br />to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Colton, said territory <br />i <br />being therein designated as "West Colton Annexation No, 16" said Resolution f <br />s <br />describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and <br />s <br />E <br />WHEREAS= said Resolution No. 2159 did contain a notice of the day, <br />hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests <br />made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be <br />annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than <br />sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 20th day of June at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the <br />Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Colton, County of San Bernar- <br />dino, <br />ernarb <br />dino, State of California, said time and place being the day., hour and place <br />fixed in said Resolution No. 2159 for hearing protests made to the proposed <br />annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners <br />of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed <br />as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one- <br />half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as <br />determined by said legislative body; and <br />WHEREAS,, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton and is <br />uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br />NOW,, THEREFORE; the said Council of the City of Colton does here- <br />by approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of <br />Colton„ and does hereby further ordain that said territory be and is hereby <br />annexed to the City of Colton; <br />That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton is <br />herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Bernardino,p <br />
