2'. <br />ti ! <br />i� <br />8 a, <br />f <br />91 <br />f{ <br />10'I <br />� <br />12 ii <br />13 �. <br />In <br />15 1� <br />i <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />�i <br />19� <br />20 <br />2111 <br />221 <br />I <br />23i <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1132 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY* <br />DESIGNATED "EAST COLTON ANNEXATION <br />NO, 14" TO THE CITY OF COLTON* <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: <br />WHEREAS, on the 6th day of June, 1962, the Council of the City of <br />Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2275 giving notice of the proposal to <br />annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Colton, said territory being <br />therein designated as "East Colton Annexation No. 14t1 said Resolution describ- <br />ing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and <br />WHEREAS-. said Resolution No. 2275 dial contain a notice of the day, <br />hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests <br />real property within the territory proposed to be <br />made by any person <br />owning p P Y <br />annexed, the time of <br />said hearingbeing not less than forty nor more than sixty <br />days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July, 19 62 , at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in <br />the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North Eighth Street <br />in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, said time <br />andP lace being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2275 for <br />hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass <br />upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that pro- <br />tests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately <br />owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by" the last equalized assess - <br />nor roll nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned <br />me 4 <br />terry proposed itor to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and <br />WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton, and is <br />uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; <br />OW THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby <br />N , <br />I' <br />approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of <br />I <br />! <br />! <br />Colton and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby <br />annexed to the City of Colton. <br />i <br />iy <br />i <br />That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton is <br />
