1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23! <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28I <br />29 <br />30! <br />31' <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1177 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DECLARING THE INTENTION <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ORDER THE ABANDON- <br />MENT OF THAT PORTION OF REDLANDS AVENUE <br />FROM LAUREL STREET TO RIALTO AVENUE <br />ADJACENT TO REDLANDS AVENUE FROM THE <br />NORTHERLY LINE OF LAUREL STREET TO THE <br />SOUTHERLY LINE OF RIALTO AVENUE ADJACENT <br />TO LOTS 116 THROUGH 1.29 INCLUSIVE AND LOT <br />133 OF LOTHIANS SUBDIVISION OF BLOCKS 10, <br />19 AND PART OF 20 OF THE COLTON LAND AND <br />WATER COMPANY AS RECORDED IN BOOK 16v OF <br />MAPS; PAGES 41 AND 42 RECORDS OF SAN <br />BERNARDINO COUNTY,, CALIFORNIAo <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 That the City Council does hereby declare its intention to <br />order the abandonment of that portion of Redlands Avenue from the northerly <br />line of Laurel Street to the southerly line of Rialto Avenue adjacent to Lots 116 <br />through 129 inclusive and Lot 133 of Lothians Subdivision of Blocks 10, 19 and <br />part of 20 of the Colton Land and Water Company as Recorded in Book 16 of <br />Maps, Pages 41 and 42 Records of San Bernardino County, California,, <br />For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment, reference is <br />hereby made to the map on file in the office of the City Clerk of Colton, <br />California, <br />SECTION 2„ That the hour of 7:30 p,,m. on the 18th day of February, <br />1964, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Colton, California be and the <br />same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons inter- <br />ested in or objecting to the proposed abandonment,, may appear before the City <br />Council and offer evidence in relation thereto, <br />SECTION 3,. That C. Glenn Wilson, Director of Public Works of the <br />City of Colton, is hereby directed to cause "Notiey of Street Vacation" to :be <br />posted as required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. <br />SECTION 4,. Nothing in this Ordinance shall in any way effect or dis- <br />turb any and all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located <br />on or which in the future in accordance with standard installation practices be <br />reasonably necessary to locate, on, over, or across a portion of" the premises <br />
