VVHERE'AS, the State of California under Chapter 47, Statutes of 1544, ( 4th Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment to provide financial assistance to Local Agencies defined therein as counties, cites or cities and counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the cost of acquiring right-of-way or sites for public works projects determined to be desirable in post-war public works programs of such Local Agencies; -and 2. WHEREAS, the City of Colton hereinafter designated as "Local Agency", desires to submit it s request for State aid in the acquisition of a right-of-way or site under said Act; and 3. WHEREAS, a request to the Post War Public 4orks Review Board for such aid has been prepared and presented to this Legislative Body for consideration; and 4. WHEREAS, the City of Colton has made provisions for paying one-half or more of the cost of such acquisition; 5. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Colton submit the aforesaid request for acquisition aid to the Poet War Public Works Review Board for the State's share of the cost of such acquisition; and 20 6. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of 21 Colton hereby certifies that the total cost paid or estimated to be 22 aid for the acquisition of the right-of-way or site for which it is 23requesting aid under said Act is y15500.00; and 24 7. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Colton hereby 25 requests the State to pay the State's share of the total cost paid 26 r to be paid for the acquisition for which the City of Colton is 27requesting aid. 28 B. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of this request, 29 . H. Jones, City Accountant of the City of Colton, City Hall, be 31 32 E and he hereby is designated as the authorized agent of Local Agency and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the here mentioned request on behalf of the City of Colton and to submit
