1' <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />lb' <br />16 <br />17 <br />16 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />23 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1270 <br />]WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Colton to expend <br />a large sum of money during the next several years for vital and <br />necessary improvements and repairs to its facilities and services <br />and for other purposes necessary to the general welfare of the <br />City of Colton, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is endeavgf ag to prevent the <br />necessity of a bond issue against the City if possible in order <br />to pay the said wlpenses, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City is endeavoring to <br />place in efroot as near as possible a "pay as you go" plan for <br />said City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON that effective September 1, 1946 and extending for <br />a period not to exceed, five years, the following rates for <br />water and electrical energy are hereby adopted: <br />( See attached sheet.) <br />That the aforementioned electric and water rates shall be <br />in effect for a period,, not to exceed five years from the date <br />hereof and for a shorter period should said shorter period be <br />deemed advisable by the aforesaid City Council. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August, 1946. <br />A.
