1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3565 <br />WHEREAS, all electric energy distributed by the City of Colton <br />is purchased from the Southern California Edison Company; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company has filed an <br />application with the Federal Power Commission to increase its wholesale <br />electric rates about 33% to cities such as Colton; and, <br />WHEREAS, an additional appropriation of about $41,000 per month <br />will be required for purchased power in the electric, utility budget when <br />the wholesale rate increase becomes effective; and, <br />WHEREAS, the existing rate structure for electricity is outdated; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Colton that a new rate schedule, attached as Exhibit V and made a part <br />hereof, for electrical energy is hereby approved and adopted. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions, or parts thereof, <br />in conflict with the provisions of this resolution are hereby rescinded. <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: February 1, 1976 <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 1976.- <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
