Present at the bid opening <br />was Ken Peterson, General Services Manager, Brian Oul.mn, Associate Planner, and <br />Dave Taylor, Project Administrator. <br />We received two bids from contractors on the project. Please refer to the attached <br />bid summary sheet. <br />The low bid was from Young Contractors located in Rancho Cucamon Ca,. The <br />is 9a bid <br />$340,0'00 which is 100 <br />$ ,000 over ourro ect bud <br />P J get. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends rejection of the bids. Staff additionally recommends that staff <br />direct the 'project architect or qualified-construction management film to develop <br />cost estimates and to'priortize the work which can be completed within our <br />existing budget.
