SOTELO, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Various Marbelite Street- Date: July 27, 1990 <br />light Standards to Triad Sales in the Amount <br />of $55,403.25 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Every six months the City's Electrical Engineer reviews the Electric <br />Stores inventory for streetlight standards and projects the number and <br />sizes of poles needed for the next six month period. On July 12, 1990, <br />General Services advertised for this requirement. <br />Bid opening was held at 3:30 p.m., July 24, 1990, in the General Services <br />office. Two bids were received and evaluated. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />A Bid Analysis is attached showing price and delivery for each vendor. <br />The recommended vendor's price is underlined.
