Aguilera, Director of Community Development <br />SUBJECT: Rent Stabilization Commission Appointments <br />E <br />BACKGROUND• <br />The Rent Stabilization Ordinance states that the City Council is to create a <br />Rent Stabilization Commission. The Commission will be the body responsible <br />to hear appeals and set fees. <br />The ordinance requires that the Council appoint five members in the following <br />categories: <br />• One member from the ranks of the Mobile Home Park owners <br />• One member from the ranks of the mobile home park renters <br />(and Colton citizen) <br />• Three members from the community with no ties to the mobile <br />home park owners or renters R <br />At the Council Meeting of August 7, 1990 the City Council appointed three E <br />members to the Rent Stabilization Commission.
